Game industry execs linked to Peter Thiel’s secret mixer

Former Xbox president Sarah Bond, former Roblox chief product officer Manuel Bronstein, and Take-Two president and CEO Strauss Zelnick have been linked with an invite-only society called ‘Dialog’ founded by German-American entrepreneur and conservative political activist Peter Thiel.

Thiel is the controversial billionaire co-founder of fintech juggernaut PayPal and defence, AI, and software company Palantir. Notably, he was also one of Facebook’s earliest backers and advised U.S. president Donald Trump when he was seeking election ahead of his first term (via The BBC).

More recently, Thiel bankrolled republicans ahead of the 2026 mid-terms (thanks, Yahoo!) and held a series of off-the-record lectures about the antichrist—who he apparently believes might be walking among us in the guise of Greta Thunberg (via The Guardian).

As reported by Wired, a deluge of internal records exposed by Swiss investigative journalist and hacktivist ‘Maia Arson Crimew‘ have seemingly revealed the names of 113 people involved in Dialog. It’s unclear whether those listed by Maia on Bluesky are society members, guests, or speakers.

The list includes some other notable figures from outside of the video game industry, including SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, OpenAI chief strategy officer Jason Kwon, and (500) Days of Summer actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt—the latter of whom confirmed his attendance on Instagram but denied knowing Thiel personally.

As noted by Wired, Dialog has kept its rolodex of members under wraps for around two decades. The group convenes at off-the-record retreats to participate in ominously named sessions such as ‘Navigating WWIII,’ ‘Build-a-Cult,’ ‘Battlefield Technologies,’ and ‘How’s Your Sex Life?’. Additional documents and registration records obtained by Wired indicate Dialog also features talks more “typical” of a thought leadership conference.

The publication added that Dialog attendees have included two U.S. senators, a former Middle East chief of intelligence, an ambassador to the United States, and multiple Google and Google DeepMind executives.

According to Wired, the rise of artificial intelligence is seemingly weighing on the mind of Dialog attendees, with a sign-up form obtained by the publication (which asks those attending to predict the future) littered with responses indicating that AI will have a world-altering impact on work, war, and education.

“Societal degeneration, will continue to accelerate.” one person predicted, according to documents viewed by Wired.

Game Developer has reached out to Roblox and Microsoft for comment. Take-Two declined to comment when approached.
