Paramount has just broken cover on its latest initiative: Paramount Games Studio. Described by Paramount as a “unified game studio,” the new outfit includes all existing Paramount and Skydance gaming studios, including Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media.
Leadership includes president Tony Driscoll, who has previous experience at Epic Games and Warner Bros.; executive vice president and head of games Dan Prigg, formerly of Discovery and Scopely; senior VP, head of creative & production Shawn Kittelsen; senior VP, marketing and communications Andrea Silvers; senior VP, business development & licensing Kara Bilkiss; and senior VP of Engineering Ray Davis.
“This division launch marks a meaningful evolution in how we think about games—not as an extension of our business, but as a core pillar of our content strategy alongside film, television, and streaming,” reads a statement from Driscoll. “We are committed to creating exceptional games for every type of player, from casual to AAA, and building enduring experiences across our beloved Paramount IP and original worlds that deepen fan engagement and drive long-term growth.”
Alongside the studio announcement, two games were revealed: Platinum Games-developed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin—described as a triple-A action-adventure—and Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, developed with Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
