Newsbrief: Valve released the new Steam Controller yesterday, and it is already out of stock.
“Steam Controller ran out faster than we anticipated, and we hate that not everyone who wanted one was able to get it,” the company said via social media today, less than 24 hours since launch.
“We’re working on getting more in stock and will have an update on expected timeline soon,” Valve added.
According to a Kotaku report, the controller appeared as “sold out” in less than an hour. Since then, there have been multiple eBay listings reselling it for as much as $400, compared to the approximate $100 retail price.
